The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination on 12-06-2011 for entry into about 880 posts of Indian Administrative Service(IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other Group A and Group B Central Services.
Age: 21 – 30 years as on 01-08-2011. The upper age relaxation as per government rules.
Number of attempts: 4 (Four). OBC/Physically Handicapped: 7(Seven) SC/ST: unlimited
Last Date: 21-03-2011 ( 28-03-2011 for Remote Areas)
How to Apply:
2. Offline: Common Application of UPSC can be purchased from designated Post Offices @Rs 30 or Published in the Employment News in the notification.
Application Fee: Rs 100 for Offiline application and Rs 50 for Online Application. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women
